Today, I will admit, has been one of the laziest days spent thus far in Pleasant Valley. Green is everywhere as the warming Springtime settles in, and all I've done is lounge around, sipping coffee and reading the Globe on the patio in my back yard.
Ahh...doing nothing can be so satifying.
Back to the yard I go...

You know it's finally spring when the heating is turned off, the windows propped open, and the gigantic dog (remember, he's a 200-lb Saint Bernard...) gets a bath outside. Now I'm forced to give him a new nickname since Stinky-Boo doesn't cut it anymore and Fresh-Scent-Boo sounds too bizarre to be contemplated for long... Suggestions welcome!
What about Febreeze-y-boo? Almost sounds Italian, don't you think? :)
I must concur that it sounds distinctly Italian. It would be a bit bizarre to call him that, I think... Of course, if I keep dithering as I am doing for much longer, he'll do something silly and utterly canine like roll around in the grass and mud, and then he'll be back to being good ole Stinky-Boo.
Hmm...how about just calling him Stinky-boo in an ironic, post-bath sort of way until he actually does roll around in the the grass and mud and his name once again becomes more deserved? :)
